GC Murphy's Leon

9 Legs

DOB: 9-27-23

Out of GC Skittles and Buttons

This one is super hard for me to part with. Leon is an absolute sweetheart of a buck. He's compact in body and has his dad's thick, short ears. He's short and wide in body and has nice stubby front limbs. He's done well for me on the tables and also as a producer. He doesn't beat out my larger boys (usually), but he holds his own near the top of deep classes. I prefer to take him to the bigger to medium sized ladies and have several keepers in my barn out of him. I may be picky about where this beautiful boy goes as he's near and dear to my heart.

GC Murphy's Joker

17 GC Legs

BOSV Holland Lop Nationals 2023

BOS Day after Nationals 2023

Out of GC Jester and Thistle (REW carrier)

DOB: 6-26-22

Joker is another one that is super hard to part with. He has definitely leaving behind LOTS of offspring, but I find I'm using his grandson more than him recently and I'd like to see him make an impact in someone else's herd while he's still easily producing babies. Joker was the only rabbit that won all of his classes at the Ohio Nationals in 2023. He's earned numerous BOB wins as well as a RIS win. I really haven't shown Joker too much over the last year and used him more for breeding. I feel he'll come in nicely after this most recent hard molt he's just now getting past.

Murphy's Reese

Young SSB out of GC Skittles and his daughter Jeannette

DOB: 8-18-25

Reese is a compact and typey buck with a nice topline and fullness to the table. I'd like to see a touch more width in his chest. He does have his dad's thick substance of ear, which I appreciate.

Murphy's Angus

DOB: 3-28-25

Out of GC Alfie and Giggles

Molli and I chose this guy as our new herd buck for mass, width and bone in the fall. However, we ended up having two big boys as there was also a Kevin son that she didn't want to part with. Honestly, the two of them are quite similar in traits. Angus is a younger buck, but look for him to carry that MASSIVE head that his dad Alfie is known for. The tree trunk front limbs are short like I like to see them. He's wide from shoulder to hindquarters. I use these big boys with my medium to smaller does that need more mass, bone and width. I always keep one in the barn....but never two. So, this chunky baby maker needs a new barn.

Murphy's Astro

Out of GC Alfie and Quippy

DOB: 12-15-24

Astro is a compact buck with nice width and short front limbs. I appreciate his consistent width and pretty topline. I'd like to see him have a bit more fullness at the base of his hindquarters. He does also still possess some ear control and can lift them when he's excited. I expect that will likely stop being the case once he has another head pop.

Murphy's Alvin

DOB: 6-8-25

Out of GC Alfie and Giggles

Alvin is a super compact buck with nice width of shoulders and hindquarters. I expect him to stay on the more compact and smaller size. He's presently going through a terrible molt, but I expect him to come back into shape once it's over.

Murphy's Henna

DOB: 9-28-25

Out of Simon and Hera (I think I put in for both of these to be granded. They are both young, but have 11 legs each)

We have a more showy daughter that we're keeping out of this litter. I appreciate the width of the shoulders to the hindquarters. I also appreciate her topline. I'd like to see a bit more width of the crown from front to back and a touch stronger ankle.

Murphy's Sassy

DOB: 9-16-25

Out of GC Leon and Serenity

I love this doe's body. I'm not a fan of her head. She's SOLID to touch with tons of muscle and overall width. Short in body with consistent width from shoulders to hindquarters. It's like her body grew and her head decided not to. I'd certainly breed her to one of my bigger headed bucks. She has a beautifully full hindquarter as well.

ML522

Out of GC Abu (Alfie son) x Katniss (Kevin daughter)

DOB: 12-7-25

This gal is going to be a bigger brood doe. I appreciate her width of body and shorter topline. She tends to pigeon-toe her front feet, but I've found some of my wider does do this as juniors and then straighten out as they get older. Would work well with a smaller buck that needs more mass and width.

ML523

DOB: 12-26-25

Out of GC Alby and Serenity

This little girl is younger than what I normally part with, but she has an absolutely phenomenal sister I can't wait to see grow up and I know that one will be the one that is my keeper from this litter. This girl is going to stay compact in structure. She needs to be worked with a bit more as I just took her from her mom, but she was pretty easy to pose for a first timer.

ML524

DOB: 12-7-25

Out of GC Abu and Katniss (Kevin daughter)

I'd probably grow this doe out longer if I didn't already have several others that I like a bit better than her. I appreciate her width and smoothness at this young age. She has nice short, wide front limbs. I'd like to see her have a touch more width of shoulders.

ML525

DOB: 12-7-25

Out of GC Skittles and Amber (Alfie daughter)

There's lots I like about this doe. She needs a bit more practice posing so she doesn't over pose and push her nose in the air. However, she has nice width of chest and hindquarters and nice short ears with good substance. Overall a promising doe.

Murphy's Moxie

DOB: 9-16-25

Out of GC Leon and Serenity

Molli talked me into this one as a last minute addition. I may regret it as this was one of my favorites coming into this show season. I love the topline and how solid this girl's body is. I'd like to see a touch more width in her lower chest and a bit more depth of chest. Overall, she's a round ball of doe with lost of nice parts. My one area I'd like to fix on her is that she will fold her ears when she's first taken out and handled. However, she will relax them and lay them flat if given time to stop being spicey about being disturbed.
